Web.com is a business website hosting company. They are not cheap as their lowest price plan starts at $14.95 per month with a $20 setup fee. Their plan used to be $24.95, but they recently lowered it to keep up with competition. However, they provide superior support and fast website hosting.

Control Panel
They use their own custom control panel software. Although it is fast and does all the basic tasks very well, the control panel is still very basic. Most of the features in the control panel are catered for the business user, but not for the technical.
Customer Service
Web.com provides support 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The knowledge of their representatives are superb and they are definitely one of the best in the industry. They also cater very much to business users as they can assist you with adding business addons to your web hosting as well as assisting with understanding the features of the web hosting
Setup Time
Setup time was pretty prompt. Once we purchase an account, we were pretty much up and running in hours. The email provided everything we needed to transfer our domain and the tutorials were really easy to understand.
Pitfalls
Web.com charges almost twice as much as other web hosts. But is it really worth it? It is really up to you. Other web hosts have pretty much the same features as Web.com, but at half the cost. Because their array of business products that can link to your website, there really isn’t any other major benefit.
Strengths
The biggest strength is how well the streamline of their business products are in relations to their web hosting. They can set you up with marketing and designing of websites and they do understand your needs since most of their clients are business clients
Our Opinion
If you are business and new to web hosting, Web.com would be an excellent choice for you thanks to their helpful staffs that understands business web hosting. Their level of customer service is superb, but at twice the price, we would consider alternatives such as our first three choices for web hosting.
